The Bulletin 1489-A Thermal Magnetic Circuit Breakers are general purpose devices suitable for the majority of industrial, inverse time circuit breaker applications. The 1489-A3D250 is a 25A 3_pole version with a D_curve trip characteristic Ñ making it suited to protection of small control and auxiliary circuits. The 1489 series offers UL_489 miniature breaker classification and is optimized for space_constrained panel installations.
With AC voltage rating up to 277V it offers flexible use across mixed AC/DC control systems. It carries a {aic rating} interrupting rating to ensure reliable clearing of faults. Because the manufacturer has discontinued the model (effective April_30_2014) there may be limited availability; however the 1489 series remains widely recognized and compatible in many legacy panel rebuilds. Typical applications include machine_tool control circuits, relay and contactor feed protection, auxiliary distribution in panel boards, and OEM control cabinet builds where space is at premium and DIN_rail mounting is required.
