The SKHA36AT0800 is a molded case circuit breaker from the General Electric Spectra RMS™ SKHA series, designed for high-capacity protection in commercial, industrial, and OEM power distribution systems. This model features a -pole configuration, a continuous current rating of A, and is rated for operation up to V AC. The SKHA36AT0800 utilizes a bolt-on mounting style, making it suitable for secure installation in Spectra series panelboards and switchboards. It provides a short-circuit interrupting (AIC) rating of 25kA at 600V AC, with higher ratings available at lower voltages, such as 50kA at 480V AC and 65kA at 240V AC.
This breaker is equipped with a digital, solid-state RMS sensing trip system, offering LSI (Long-Time, Short-Time, and Instantaneous) protection functions. The trip unit is interchangeable and features adjustable short-time and instantaneous settings, allowing for precise coordination and enhanced protection of motors and transformers. The digital RMS technology ensures accurate response to both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal currents, minimizing nuisance tripping even in environments with high harmonic content, such as those using SCR drives, welders, or computer power supplies. The SKHA36AT0800 supports a wire range of (4) 3/0 AWG to 500 kcmil for both copper and aluminum conductors and is suitable for reverse feed applications.
The SKHA36AT0800 is widely used in demanding electrical distribution and control applications, valued for its robust construction, high interrupting capacity, and advanced protection features. Electrical.com offers this model along with technical documentation, product selection guidance, and expert support to ensure seamless integration into your power system and long-term operational reliability.
